To gather priestesses from around the world to share their work and to network.
When is the convocation?
2 – 8 October 2020
What time does the convocation begin and end?
The convocation will open on the morning of Friday 2nd October and will close on the afternoon of the 8th October 2020.
I heard about it from a friend. Exactly what is the convocation?
A Spiritual Gathering – a seven day plenary experience, collaboration of Ceremony, Dialogue, Presentations, Art, Music, Dance, Transport to Local Tours, and co-creation to empower the Priestess and revitalise the Motherworld Vision for the Globe.
Is there a theme?
The 2020 Priestess Convocation theme is – The Great Remembering. Together we will connect to our deep ancient ‘codes’ of Being.
When will the programme be available?
By mid 2019
Will we be indoors or outside?
Most sessions will be held in the conference centre or around the grounds of the Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village Resort. We will be visiting sacred offsite locations also.
How many attendees are expected?
Between 200 and 500 individuals from around the world.
Can I be a volunteer at the convocation?
The volunteers who support the convocation are called Melissae. As there is limited amount of Melissae positions available there is an application process. More information about this process will be posted in the coming months.
Will there be free time at the convocation?
You are invited to make this Convocation your own. There are no compulsory activities, however important information regarding any scheduling changes or information about excursions will be made during the plenary sessions so attendance is highly recommended.
Will my photo be taken during the convocation?
Yes, we will be capturing the Herstory of the event via both still photography and video. Please remind the photographers if you do NOT wish to be in any photos or video. We will do our best to monitor this based on consent provided during the registration process.

What is included in the price of the ticket?
Access to all sessions, transport for all excursions (but not ticket price – entrance fees are typically € 8-20), cultural events and theatre, as well as an art exhibition and a market place plus morning and afternoon teas and lunch for seven days.

Are there group registrations?
Multiple tickets can be purchased in the same transaction however each participant will be required to provide registration details at the time of purchase.

Can my spouse or partner attend the convocation?
Yes, absolutely, however any person attending the convocation must purchase a ticket.
Are day tickets available?
No. There will be no part day tickets because the convocation will be a journey experience, starting at the beginning and climaxing at the end, so it is not designed for someone to dip in and out of.
Can I fill out the registration form and pay later?
Full payment is required at the time of registration.
What methods of payment can I use?
As this is a global event PayPal is our preferred payment method. PayPal accept a large number of debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner’s Club and EnRoute.
What is your refund procedure and deadline?
If you can’t transfer your ticket and need to cancel your registration the following guidelines will apply: All cancellations will incur a €100 administration fee. Who can register?
Registrations are open to anyone aged 15+ and babes in arms are welcome. Childcare may be available for those staying in the resort so please contact the resort directly to enquire about this.

What should I do when I arrive at the conference?
On arrival you will need to sign in at the registration desk where you will be provided a welcome pack.
What are the onsite registration hours?
Registration hours will be between 9am and 2pm on Friday 2nd October.
Where is onsite registration located?
This information will be provided to those who have registered in their welcome letter. This letter will be sent closer to the convocation date.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Tickets must be shown to staff for validation at registration either in printed hard copy form or in PDF form on a mobile phone. If printed, must not be defaced or damaged or unable to be read. Valid Photo ID is also required for entry to the Event, that being a valid passport, valid driver’s license or valid proof of age card.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?
Only if arranged with the organisers prior to the event.
Please pay close attention to the details of the Event and quantity and price of Tickets whilst purchasing your Ticket/s. Mistakes made by you during purchase, will not entitle you to a refund, return or exchange of Ticket. Tickets are sold or otherwise provided to Participants for personal use only. Tickets are transferable; however, you must obtain the consent of the organisers to do so.

I want to make an offering. How do I apply?
We will soon send out the call for “Offerings” and encourage all who have Temples and Schools to come and share what they offer. We have a vision of Temples/Schools creating their own altar at the Convocation, and having their presence appreciated and honoured. There will be an application process which will be available in the coming months.
Are there participant limits for sessions?
All attendees will have a seat for the plenary sessions. There may be the need to register for some of the other sessions due to room set up requirements. More information will be available when the program is finalised in the coming months.

What kind of other activities besides Ceremonial Offerings will be available?
Excursions, Sacred Drama, Performance, Art Exhibition, Marketplace.
How is seating allocated?
Seating areas have been preassigned as part your ticket purchase. Seating in these areas is on a first come first served basis. There will be some reserved seating for conference staff and those requiring support.
Can I sit with my friends?
Only if they have purchased the same tier of ticket. We ask that you not hold or reserve seating for anyone as this may cause congestion and disruption to seating.
Do you provide special assistance for persons with physical limitations?
The conference venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs or mobility devices and all handout materials will be available in accessible electronic format. Is a marketplace going to be available?
The marketplace space is specifically set up for registered vendors or sponsors to share resources, services and products. Since we have this space, we ask that women refrain from doing business outside of the marketplace. When teaching, performing and/or simply walking around camp, our goal is that everyone feels comfortable and is not concerned that someone is going to market a service and/or ask for contributions for a cause, product or event. These things should only happen in the marketplace and/or by the conference organisers for informational/conference related activities.

What is the deadline for vendor payment?
1st February 2020
Vendors or exhibitors are required to purchase a convocation ticket. As part of the registration process you can express interest in exhibiting your artwork or having a market place offering. As places are limited, expressions of interest will be closed February 2020. This will allow time for convocation weavers to approve applications, allocate stalls and confirm all other requirements.
Is the Market juried?
As part of the registration process you can express interest in exhibiting your artwork or having a market place offering. A description of your artwork and goods or services will be sought via an additional application process for approval. Vendor and exhibitor agreements will then be provided.
Do you allow outside vendors and exhibitors to have booth space at the convocation?
Only convocation ticket holders will be able to apply for vendor/exhibitor space.
Do you provide transportation to and from the convocation?
Transfers are not included in the convocation ticket price. Attendees will need to find their own transport to and from the venue.
What methods of transport are available to get to the convocation?
There are many options – public transport, taxis or private car.

The Venue is located in Malia
The venue for the convocation will be the Kalimera Kriti Hotel and Village Resort conference centre in Malia www.kalimerakriti.gr
Are there restaurants located within walking distance from the venue?
The resort has a range of bars and restaurants onsite offering a selection of international & traditional cuisine. There is also a small village close by which has other restaurant options.
Where is Malia located?
Malia lies 34 kilometres east of Heraklion, the Cretan capital city.
What can I do in Malia in my free time?
Modern day Malia is a holiday resort, tourism and commerce are the main economic activities in the town, with plenty of hotels, restaurants, gift shops, bars and nightclubs. The town is a tourist attraction, primarily for its significant archaeological site and nightlife.
What is the weather like in Malia during the conference?
Temperatures are around 24C during the day and 17C at night. Despite October falling within the autumn season for Crete, the sea is more than warm enough for swimming in. During this month, the average sea temperature for the waters around Crete is 23°C – that’s just 2°C cooler than the peak sea temperature for the year.
What is the dress code for this event
Standard attire as one would wear in a resort. No swimwear unless covered in the workshop areas please. All Priestess finery welcome!
Normally the venue is a smoke free event BUT there will be an allocated smoking area, away from the event.
Many attending the conference are sensitive to perfume, bug sprays and other personal care products with fragrances and/or made using essential oils. Please leave heavily scented products at home and bring/use unscented products at the conference. If you must use such products, please do not apply indoors or in shared spaces. Thank you dearly for your cooperation, it makes a huge difference.
Will you record and broadcast convocation sessions?

How do I retrieve my personal items that I lost at the convocation?
During the convocation there will be a lost property box located at the Iris room in the conference centre. After the convocation concludes you will need to contact conference centre directly as anything remaining will be delivered to the Hotel Lost and Found.
